Hey! I’m Jenny Sotelo, a creative soul from Mexico currently located in California, with a passion for art that started when I was just 4 years old. Since then, I’ve spent most of my life drawing, painting, and creating by hand, art has always been a huge part of who I am.
As I’ve grown, I realized I wanted to take my creativity into the tech world. That’s why I’m currently studying Web Development at Southwestern College, with plans to graduate in 2026. I’ve also taken graphic design and art classes, which have helped me build a solid foundation in both traditional and digital art.
Right now, I run my own small business where I’m in charge of all the marketing and design work — from branding and social media to visuals and content. It’s taught me a lot about how to mix creativity with strategy, and I love it.
I’m super excited to keep learning and growing in the web and design space. My goal is to combine my artistic background with tech to build beautiful, meaningful digital experiences.
My art is incredibly versatile — I’ve never limited myself to just one style or medium. Whether it’s traditional painting, digital design, or building websites, I love exploring new ways to express creativity. I easily adapt to different aesthetics and artistic challenges, which keeps my work fresh and meaningful. Another passion of mine is traveling — I’ve been lucky enough to visit 8 countries and over 20 cities so far, and I’m just getting started. There’s something powerful about sitting in a completely new setting, whether it’s a quiet café abroad or a park bench with just my laptop or a pencil and sketchbook.
Traveling has also sparked my love for languages — I speak English, Spanish, Italian, and I’m currently learning Japanese, which adds another layer of creativity and connection to my work.
